Declaring The Simplicity Of Christ And The Riches Of His Kingdom

7 Keys To Be Made Whole December 31, 2011

Filed under: Faith Builder — stimsonsr @ 12:23 am

But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our GUILT and iniquities: the chastisement (needful to obtain) peace and well being for us was upon Him, and with the stripes that (wounded Him) we are healed and made WHOLE.  Isaiah 53:5 amp

1–Recognize that Jesus already healed us at the cross our bodies may not know it but the work Jesus did left nothing that was not put under Him and His faith defeated every enemy.

2–Never make excuses for the infirmity nor magnify its power don’t accept it as being God’s will for our lives.

3–Let your faith stand in the power of God not in the wisdom of men, it is because of His mercy not our perfect wisdom.

4–You receive by grace through faith It is not because of our ability to believe or our own good works, we don’t earn our healing through performance such as a thousand confessions etc etc.

5–Understand we don’t need to try to believe we are believers by birth  (believers just believe).

6–We should never try to hide sickness (physical or emotional) out of pride or embarrassment we should share it with the right people who can help our faith.

7–Learn to depend upon the help of the Holy Spirit to receive what is already ours.

The Father has given us an eternal “I will” meaning it was already settled  at the cross.

He is our helper and He will show us how to not just be healed, but really be made whole emotionally whole and in every way restore us.

7 Things To Know About Hearing God December 30, 2011

Filed under: Faith Builder — stimsonsr @ 7:47 am

Isaiah 30:21— Your ears will hear a word behind you, “This is the way, walk in it,” whenever you turn to the right or to the left.

Notice the word behind you; this has a twofold meaning one is what God says is what He has already said in and through the finished work, The other is that we often hear Him after we move forward and He confirms our steps.

In hearing God we must be aware that our own will has a voice and can often interfere with hearing a clear pure sound “un-disciplined desires create voices that sound like God, but they will often be divisive having anxiety and confusion attached to them”.

7 things to know about hearing God

1—Eliminate the negative out of our life He want’s us to know His will and comprehend His voice God loves you and will speak to you as much as to anyone.

2—Understand there must be purpose in us hearing— Sometimes He expects us to know what to do so that he may teach us to rule and then at other times it is because of major shifts in our life that He will speak dramatically….

3—Don’t limit the Lord to one way of speaking— God has many ways of communication… example:  By the revelation of scripture, impressions of peace, a  sound spiritual knowing, a voice, confirmed prophetic ministry, circumstances of life with the spirit of peace, spiritual dreams or just pure intimate communion.

4—Understand God’s method’s of communication—God is a spirit his primary way to communicate with us is #1 in our spirit  #2 in the soul (mind, emotions and will) and then # 3 in the physical world, if God speaks audibly it is a low form of hearing Him this is where He stoops down to speak.

5—Get to know Him for yourself, the more we come to know Him away from all the religious clutter of church and religious activities or another person’s revelation of Him we will listen to His heart beat.

6—No one has the right to violate your conscience, however this does not mean we shouldn’t have a submissive attitude and an open heart to listen to others.

7—Avoid being motivated by guilt or shame— Many people mistake God’s voice expecting it to come through shame or guilt especially in the area of giving “it should be cheerful giving not manipulated giving”.

“Learn to pay close attention to the first thought, stop habitual second guessing yourself and never turn against your potential in doing so you also attack God’s work in your life.

Keys To Receiving Miracles December 29, 2011

Filed under: Faith Builder — stimsonsr @ 11:08 am

1 Cor.12:9   To one is given the working of miracles.  The word working here means to activate or to operate note it is “The gift of the activation of miracles” not the gift of miracles.

These are all grace gifts meaning they are not earned by our will or our wisdom, but they are to be received through faith.

Eph. 2:1—We are saved by grace through faith and that not of ourselves it is the gift of God  not of works, so no one can boast about it.

7 Things Concerning Miracles:

(1)—– It is mis-belief to think that God will do miracles without our participation.

(2)—– God’s part is grace (divine en-ablement) our part is faith which is the response to His grace.

(3)—– How he started in our life when he brought us common salvation is the same pattern for working in our lives now.

(4)—-Grace and faith will not allow us to focus on the condition or the reason for the condition such as sins, attacks, blame past failures etc.etc.  John 9:1-5

(5)—-We need miracles to help us on our journey in life, yet walking in divine wisdom may prevent us from needing so many miracles, but there should be no guilt if we find that we need one.

(6)——Miracles often happen in the atmosphere of proper relationships where the gifts of the Holy Spirit can flow, consider the first miracle Jesus did was at a wedding and it involved others. (Jn.2:1)

(7) —-We cannot earn a miracle by our good works nor disqualify ourselves by our bad works.

We simply breath in Grace and breath out Faith!

What to Do When Every Thing Seems To Be Going Wrong December 23, 2011

Filed under: Faith Builder — stimsonsr @ 6:35 am

God Himself has said, I will not in anyway fail you, nor give you up, nor leave you without support, I will not, I will not, I will not in any degree leave you helpless nor forsake you, nor let you down, nor relax my hold upon you; Assuredly Not. Heb 13:5 (b)

It is a play on word’s but Jesus wore a seem-less garment you cannot go by how it seems.

(1) Let the trial of your faith through brokenness bring you closer to Jesus not away from Him.

(2) Learn to speak words of comfort to yourself.

(3) Look for the big picture learn to see from the mountain instead of the valley.

(4) Understand this is not your destiny it is just your journey never confuse the two we mail fail a thousand times on our journey it is still not our destiny.

(5) Understand that there are adjustment’s dealing with eternal matters going on around us  that we are not able to understand, but He is faithful to you regardless.

(6) Avoid giving your thoughts over to pessimistic wet-blanket people who only see the problem, but not the solution.

(7) Surround yourself with hope and a people of hope; this will be a people who you can pour yourself out on, and a people who will love you unconditionally. “This is another reason to be properly connected relationally.

(8) Start giving thanks and praise even in the trial and then turn to see the solution because He is always there for you.

(9) Go Forward when there is no way through when you are without a passage way when you are at the end of your wisdom, intelligence and strength “Wits End”

Get up, Grow up, Go forward and Renew; God will bring you safely to the other side, and He will break forth upon all of your enemies “such as the enemies of fear and doubt”.

How We See Ourselves? December 9, 2011

Filed under: Faith Builder — stimsonsr @ 7:01 am

“We even saw giants there, the descendants of Anak. We felt like grasshoppers next to them, and that’s what we looked like to them!”

Numbers.13:33

Moses sent out 12 spies into the land to see who was there and what was there.

10 spies came back with an evil report, they were blinded by how they saw themselves and how they saw the giants…. The vision of themselves was that of grasshoppers ( insignificant, no ability to overcome and  limited to the flesh).

Joshua and Caleb had another spirit;  Simply put they saw themselves accurately Caleb said ” We are well able to go up at once and possess the land; we will eat them as bread ( they are breakfast for champions )   Eventually they led a younger generation into the land and possessed it.

The vision we have of ourselves, will be the picture others will have of us, including our adversaries.

What Shaped Our View Of Ourselves:

(1)  How we see God— The view we have of God be that true or false is what we become like.

(2)  What others in authority over us have said to us—parents, pastors, teachers, employers anyone who has had authority in our lives has the power to shape the view we have of ourselves.

(3) Our world—-relationships, abuse, failures, accomplishments etc.etc. ”Rom 12 :2 JB Phillips translation–  Don’t let the world squeeze you into its mold.” simply saying don’t let your world experiences of your life squeeze you into its mold.

Changing our view:

(1) By the renewing( renovation ) of our mind—-Changing the way we think about God others ourselves and the purpose of life.

(2) Create positive surroundings that reinforce our true identity in Christ.

( 3 ) Start living out of the truth that liberates—We never experience freedom until we understand we are already free through what Jesus did for and as all of us.
