Even The Memory Shall Die

Isa.26:13-14—-Other rulers beside thee have had dominion over us; but by thee only will we make mention of Thy name. They are dead, they are deceased, ” they shall not rise; therefore you have visited and destroyed them,  and made ALL THEIR MEMORY TO PERISH.

In the past we have had attitudes and past hurts that have ruled over us, we have reacted instead of responded because of these hurts.

We have failed to recognize it as being something that rules over us yet they cause us many spiritual mental social, and  physical problems.

 We could go through the list such as fears, guilt, shame, physical, mental, sexual abuse, dis-appointments and a host of other things.

 Thy Name “only” (nature, authority, character) shall we mention, when we stand in the name of Jesus we are not just using the name, we become one with the name simply meaning we are not coming based on our name reputation character, authority,  but His.

They (the past rulers) are now DEAD and they shall not rise.

 Jesus visited these rulers at the cross and destroyed them ,even their memory now dies.

The hurts that have held us back from fulfilling our God given purpose,  every lie that we have believed about ourselves, fear, poverty, sickness and sin no longer have dominion over us,

 The old memories of pain and confusion can no longer rule over us,  they are dead and they cannot live they are deceased and will not rise.

You gave him authority over all things.” Now when it says “all things,” it means nothing is left out.

But we have not yet seen all of this happen.  What we do see is Jesus.  Heb.2:8-9a

Acts 28:5 Paul shook the viper that had attached itself to his hand right back in the fire from where it came.  The principle is anytime we gather sticks (broken humanity) together the snake will come out of the fire to stop the hand that is gathering them.

We will either shake it off or swell up, there is no need to live snake bitten with the poison of bitterness.
