Be not deceived God is not mocked “whatsoever” a man sows that shall he also reap. (Gal.6:7)
For God is the one who provides seed for the farmer and then bread to eat. In the same way, he will provide and increase your resources and then produce a great harvest of generosity in you. 2 Cor.9:10
God’s answer to the need is a seed.
After the fall when the need of man was redemption He provided the seed of a woman (Christ) coming through generations and eventually finding a place in Mary the mother of our Lord.
He totally provided for the need of all mankind with a seed and now we being in the image of Christ also have the ability to do the same with the seed of the word of God.
Perhaps one reason we keeping finding ourselves in need is that we would discover His supply and live out of his creative abilities in us.
It can be helpful to take an inventory of our need’s and then match each of them with the right kind of seed.
Things to remember while giving:
(a) Our giving should be purposeful with a proper assignment every farmer knows if you want beans you plant beans.
(b) Our giving should be cheerful and willing not manipulated from us or someone playing upon our emotions.
(c) Jesus said don’t let your left hand know what your right hand is doing simply meaning don’t satisfy the flesh nor consult with the financial climate around you. (Mt.6:3)
(d) Grace must be the power behind all of our giving and that through faith will always have a great reward.
Each seed will produce after its kind, throughout history it is always the seed that is attacked if the seed is stopped then the harvest is stopped.
